Verify Before Releasing

Always confirm that payment has been received and cleared before releasing crypto. For bank transfers, wait for the funds to actually appear in your account - not just a screenshot or pending notification. Screenshots can be faked.

Watch for Scam Patterns

Be wary of:

• Prices too good to be true (significantly above or below market rate)
• Pressure to trade quickly or urgency tactics
• Requests to use unusual or untraceable payment methods
• Anyone asking for advance payments or "test" transactions
• Overly complicated trade structures
• Traders who refuse to video call or meet in person

Keep Communication Records

Start with Small Amounts
